High Profile Productions we love Pauline Parry's Chilled BLT Soup for these hot summer days -- and it's so easy to make!
1/3 C shallots
1/3 C white onions
1 tsp garlic
...3 slices bacon chopped + 3 slices bacon to make bits for topping
1 1/2 C fresh tomatoes cut into medium cubes
1 1/2 C canned tomatoes
2/3 beef broth
1 C chicken broth
2/3 C tomato juice
1 tbl tomato paste
salt & pepper
1/2 head of romaine, shredded small and fine
1 C olive oil for garnish
2 tsp granulated sugar
In a heavy-duty pot saute the bacon on high heat until cooked and golden brown. Add the onions, shallots and garlic and cook until translucent and brown. Add tomatoes and cook until the mixture reduces and becomes thicker.........Add the beef and chicken broths, tomato juice and tomato paste. Bring to a boil then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes. Remove from the heat and let cool slightly. When cool enough to handle, place the mixture in a processor or blender to puree'. Check seasonings and add a little sugar if needed.......Meanwhile, lay the remaining 3 slices of bacon on a sheet pan and bake in a 350 degree oven for 10-15 minutes or until crispy. Strain off the fat and place bacon on paper towels. When cool, crumble the bacon.......Serve the soup in demitasse cups with bacon bits sprinkled on top. Garnish with shredded romaine lettuce and drizzle with olive oil. ENJOY!SEE LINK FOR MORE INFORMATION ON PAULINE PARRY'S BOOK FOOD,FUN,LOVE

Music and Conversation
superb and while we knew it promised to be exceptional,
It still managed to exceed our expectations.
It was like having the most inspired Disney hall concert
with just over 100 viewers at HPP.
A great marriage of music and experience.
We will definitely be doing this again!

Welcome to High Profile Productions' Blog!

Who are we? We both come from creative backgrounds in art and design. Most recently, interior design. When we approached the space we currently occupy, we wanted to make it a place that was informed by our interests and backgrounds. We understood how the power of design, layout and lighting affects everyday activities, not to mention special occasions.
It was important to us that the space be visually and experientialy considered but still remain a blank canvas of sorts, so that our clients can make the space their own while they are there.
That brings us to obvious question; What is High Profile Productions? Who does it serve?
High Profile Productions is a multi-use facility serving media producers, photographers,
event planners, educators and the design community. Our focused approach has been
shaped by a passion for inspired design and art. Located in burgeoning Culver City in the heart of the Art District, HPP sets itself apart by functioning as a state of the art photography studio and event location featuring three distinct spaces allowing for diversity of experience and visual play.
Our clients produce still photography shoots, video shoots, music video shoots and more.
HPP is also a full-service event location. We accommodate corporate events, media events, fashion events, art events, seminars as well as private parties of all kinds.
In addition, HPP hosts a revolving calendar of art/media events showcasing a number of prominent artists working in various mediums with a focus on community driven projects.
Here is where you will find updated information on what is going with us, cool events at our venue, photo shoots, cool people to check out, things we like and more. Stay tuned for more or hit the 'subscribe' button above. We love followers!
